OpenLabyrinth uses a very plain, simple web-server setup, based on Apache, MySQL and PHP (xAMP). For those who are used to setting up such servers, the process should be quite straightforwards.
The most broadly used setup is based on a Linux server (LAMP). It does help to have some basic skills with the Linux command line.
While the installation should be simple, we have also found some little things will get in the way of a smooth install. The commonest issues seem to relate to paths and permissions.
